You would assume that because everyone in Britain and the States gets paid a reasonable wage, everyone else does too. You would be wrong.
The food industry is heavily slanted towards the big international companies, who get away with paying workers a pittance. Traidcraft goods, and everything with the Fair Trade mark has been produced by workers earning a decent wage.
