DISCLAIMER: IT’S 100 WORDS!!! You can’t sue me for 100 words!

AUTHOR’S NOTES: Oh well – I wrote this while I was on a school trip in France. (Why is it always France?!?). I just found it, and here tis! The overuse of the word ‘dying’ is intentional!

Her love was dying. Slowly, slowly - inch by inch.

Greyish skin. Too red lips. Sweat-soaked brow. The embodiment of dying everywhere.

But he was her corpse, her dead man, her embodiment. And how she wished it wasn’t so.

Silence reigned in this place of dying – no one here, no one dying – except her dying.

Why? The question that must never be asked, for fear of no answers, no comfort from empty words, soulless and untrue.

They had left – long, long ago. Gone to try and fix it. A hollow laugh echoed from her lips.

You cannot fix the dying.
